Today is my last day working with Philips......

I'm so relaxed and happy :)

I'm happy knowing each one of them who works in Philips Malaysia and regional offices in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Europe and Singapore. I'm happy working with my boss, I had learnt a lot from her. THANK YOU! Thank you for 'adding' colours into my life.

I'm relaxed that finally I could let off my tasks and responsibilities in PRISMA management.

I left office an hour earlier. My boss told me that I could leave office anytime after I returned my laptop. So I cabut at abt 4.05PM, reached home 4.50PM :D

It is heavily raining out there now. The buildings are no more visible here from my condo unit. So windy and nice to sleep.........I'm going to see doctor later......Hopefully the rain will stop in a short while.....Hope there will be no bad news from the doctor. I need a rest......I really do....

Lions Dance in The Office

Today is the Lions Dance day in our office. The CEO gives us angpau and mandarin oranges.

Office = Library?

Today the office is like the library....nobody is here.

New Girl

Today, the new girl is sitting next to me because she hasn’t got her laptop yet, so she is using the desktop next to me. We haven’t got the chance to talk to each other yet. Today is her 3rd day here. On her first day, she was busy studying the materials and brochures. Yesterday, she came in late and went back home around 9.30AM. From my sources, I got to know that because she doesn’t has a laptop and couldn’t do her works, so she was permitted to go back and work from home.

She seems quite bored. Maybe no works for her yet. According to the Lady, she is chatting through gmail chat and browsing on some blogs.

It's Friday Again....

Supposed to be a happy day because it is the end of a working week. But I have nothing to do in the office today. I'm exploring the new system & tool sent by colleague from Netherlands. There is no manual or detail instructions on how to use it. The 'Help' button in the portal itself is not completed. So bored :(

I want to browse through the companies' websites, searching if there is any vacancy suitable for me. If there is, I might apply. Maybe do it later lar.

The "Long Mau" (Fat Cat) in my office is extremely free this month, he has been walking around since early of the week. When we asked him, he replied "I have nothing to do, very free". So envy of him. He is leaving the company end of this month as his contract is expiring and he refused to re-new it. In previous, he seldom talk, seldom smile and seldom walk around, sometimes he is motionless. And he walks very very very slow (maybe his weights slows him down). But now it is 360 degree change. He walks a lot around in the office, talks even more. The Lady always usik him as he is now sitting right in front of her.

About Today

Locate..locate ...locating the visuals on the server. My eyes are blur with the codes and figures now. There are over 400 folders in the server and I have to check one by one just to get the required visuals. Stupid! Time wasting right?

Busy Busy Busy

Today...suppose to be a bit relaxed. But my boss suddenly emailed me, requiring me to do some changes to the process flow and then announce it to all the Regional Product Managers. The process itself already spent me about 1 week to get alignment with the Netherland and China. By 4PM, my boss approved the new process and I could proceed to announce it to the RPMs. At 5.55PM, I was preparing to go home, suddenly this lady from Surabaya, a RPM, asking me to send her a file. So I sent it to her via ST....sending...transferring.....10%...20%...60%....80%...it was 5.59PM. So I thought I could get back home verrryyyy sooon. Mana tau....When the downloading reached 90%, a window suddenly popped out: 'There is an error in connection, please fix this...' So I clicked on the "OK" button on the window. Shocked, my ST was shut down. Eerrrrrrrrhhhh!!!!! At last, I decided to reopen my Outlook and send her an email instead. After I clicked 'Send', the email resided in the 'Outbox' for so long. It took so long to send out the email to the lady. 20 minutes in total! I left office today at 5.25PM. Once I reached the LRT station near my house, I was so happy to see the Rojak stall uncle. The rojak is so delicious. I bought one rojak and one malay's laksa. So happy after that :D

Chicken Little is Back!

Today almost all from IT department is on leave, including the IBM IT engineer. But the Chicken Little is back to work today. The Fried Chicken Little is sitting in his cubicle, doing his work now. Is the IT deparment having an event outside the company today? The Chicken Little said the engineer is going to the clinic to check his stomach. I wondered why. He said 'Isteri dia yang mengandung, tapi dia yang sakit perut'. Would pregnancy symptom infecting others? The cubicles here are so empty. Two cubicles consist of 8 persons, are now only 3 persons are working today.

Oppps, the Lady is here. I thought she will be on MC today but she turned up in the office. So it is 4 of us in the cubicles here.

MSN-ing

So happy when the company's firewall is down. How I wish it is always and forever DOWN!!! Hahhahahhaa.....I tried to sign in MSN via www.meebo.com just now. Surprised. I managed to sign in and I can chat with my buddies. I told the Lady and she also signed in. We are damn happy and excited about this. At least, we would not be so bored. This is what we called WORKING LIFE mah, some side 'entertainments' besides working working and working. Should have include this as employee's benefits as well. My Cyber friend first question on my MSN window sounds 'Fired?'. He always said the similar thing, either 'fired' or 'resign'. Maybe he predicts and assumes that I won't work long in a company but I can tell you that YOU'RE definitely wrong about Cancerians.....hehhee....Forgot to invite him into my privatized blog.
