Medical Check-up

Today I went to HUKM,Cheras for my routine annual medical check up. I was insomia last night, perhaps I drank too much of caffeine. I was craving for maggie mee again at 3.15 AM. Then I decided to cook maggie mee and while I was having my 'supper', I flipped over my wedding albums. 2 months.....It has been almost 2 months and a week after my big day which was on 18th Sept 2010. How time flies!

This morning I woke up around 9:00 AM and preparing myself to visit HUKM. My appointment was at 11:00 AM, I was sure that I would have to wait about 3 hours from the moment I queued for my number till I took my medicines. I just took a cup of hot Neslo before drove to HUKM. I waited and waited......it was 2:20 PM when I was called in to meet the doctor. I was shocked + saddened because my HBA1C reading was not good, it increased from 8.1 to 9.1. I know my reading would not be any good but I did not expect to be that worse. From that moment, I know my plan would have to be postponed....until my blood glucose is well-controlled and diet is properly maintained.

The doctor suggested me to meet a Diabetic Consultant to help me monitoring my blood glucose, cz she will change my medicine. So I have to go back to HUKM in 2 months time to have my blood glucose reading checked and consulted. I made up my mind. I need to reduce/stop taking plain white rice, control my meals intake. Stop taking other sweetened drinks. Just a cup of coffee each day-that's all! Hope my target could be met soonest possible :)

最近。。。

最近比较忙。忙什么？

可能今年是好年吧， 或是我们的年纪大了，该谈婚论嫁了。朋友都一个一个的嫁娶。从年头到年尾，我被发了大概12 个红炸弹。加上朋友添丁，又要做礼。‘人情’真的赚不够啦。昨晚还要给白锦，因为亲戚过世了。 她是因为糖尿病而逝世的。所以我要更加珍惜自己，更要多关心身边的人。免得‘爱的太迟’。

工作很闷又很烦。闷，是因为做来做去都是一样的东西。烦，是因为东西做不到，pending...烦应不应该放弃这份工作。另找新工作。还是放弃男朋友，找个有钱老公，做少奶奶。哈哈。开玩笑啦。。。。

前几天和老老朋友聚会。她从美国回来，要回去了。所以约其他人一起吃个晚餐。不怕啦。她回来两个月后，我们才见面。。。。。

House Shifting

Ai.....will be moving to a new place next weekend. So many things to be packed up. My room now is so messy. Boxes everywhere, plastic bags everywhere......

New place, new environment, new adaptation.....Hope it would be a good new start in my life as well......Since now I will be staying nearer to the city, I'm thinking to look for jobs somewhere nearby my new house, better if it is within walking distance :P. Or else, I can take Monorail to reach the office? That would be great! Save time, save cost.

Yet, I have to buy new kitchen appliances and some furniture for my new HOME. I don't like to stay in a house which does not feel like a HOME. A house which make you feel you only stay temporary (in a way, it is actually). Some stuffs like table, stand fan, cooking pots, rice cooker etc, I could get from my hometown, so not much to worry about. But big and costly stuffs like fridge and washing machine......I've to buy! :(

I'm so fortunate to have a supportive sister and bf and friend. My bf and friend said they would share to buy me a small fridge :) (glad!). Thanks to my sister too for sharing the rentals.

Ampang Looking Point...again...

Have been about 6 months since our last visit here. From the entrance you could now see they have started this parking fee system. For each parking lot at the entrance, it would cost you RM2 and if you wish to drive up to the steep hill (about 2-5 minutes drive), the jockey parking is RM3 additional.

The Gasoline Stove is now opened at Ampang Looking Point for you, your family and friends dine-in. It's a very pleasant and cooling environment with 3 type of dining tables of your choice. The price is also reasonable at RM18.90++ per pax.

We ordered Grilled Chicken Chop, Fish N Chips, Chicken Wings, Iced Coffee and Hot Coffee for our Valentine's meal.

食物还算不错。 虽然外表很普通。我们还很后悔多点那炸鸡，因为吃完那两碟鱼和鸡STEAK，肚子已很饱了。
