4 Days of Holiday!

This morning my boss called me up to her office, she wanted to know my work progress as she would be on leave starting 15 December 2008 to 5 January 2009. After a discussion with her, I continued with my current tasks.

I can’t wait to go off at 5PM sharp. Tonight I have movie date with my bf at Berjaya Times Square –“Quarantine”. We got lost in getting to the car park as most of the entrances and exits were closed. BTS has nice and gigantic Christmas tree display right in the center of the entrance.

I woke up at 6.30AM although today was public holiday (for Selangor only). I had to go to the Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia in Pusat Bandar Damansara to renew my expired passport. We have plan to Singapore next weekends. There are few kiosk machines just next to the entrance of the department which are quite convenient and easy to use, but the queue is quite long. We just have to prepare our old passports, a photostated IC, a piece of recent passport size photo and RM300 notes. After depositing all the required things into the machine, we got a receipt and have to wait for 2 hours before getting to second floor, to get the Nombor Giliran. Another waiting time of approximately 2 hours.

After that, we drove to Kotaraya to meet my sister who was travelling from hometown. We went to Puduraya to buy our tickets to Singapore (RM39 per pax), then went to bank and went home to bake cake. At first attempt, we failed, because the cake did not lift up. So it became green tea kuih lapis. Nevertheless, it tastes good too. At 7PM, went to Jusco Cheras Selatan to meet a friend of my bf. We also shopped for grocery.

Today finally we could wake up a bit later. Yet we had tight schedule ahead for today and following days. Because there is an issue with the Streamyx subscription, we got to further investigate and clarify from the Streamyx front desk person. After that, we went to Sunway Pyramid…..shopping!!! Crowd-free environment because it was weekdays and most of people was working at these hours.

Because the cake baking failed, we decided to bake another one tonight. Process started around 10.30PM-1.30AM. Here’s the photo…

Initially we had an outing with an ex-coursemate, but she was sick and the meeting was cancelled. So we continued to decorate the cake, topping and the whipping cream mixture etc…..

Around 1.30PM, we went to Midvalley because I have to collect something from a shop and snap photos of the Christmas décor in Midvalley and The Garden.

Had Little Vietnam for lunch. Met my little brother at the Education Fair. Around 5PM, we drove back to hometown.

I, he and my sister went to PC fair at KLCC. Surprisingly, I didn’t buy anything but they had. Dinner at Old Town White Coffee at Ampang Water Front.
