Last Saturday,we went to a new place called Look out Point, in Ampang. Actually it is in the middle of Ampang and the road to Semenyih/Kajang. We used the short cut from my house. It was about 15 minutes drive from my house. It is better if you reach there by 7PM, so that you won't have to wait too long to enjoy the nightview and scenery of KL.Nothing much we could do there. There are about restaurants, most serving western foods, which are quite price-reasonable.The famous and well-known one is Gasoline, which is found also in Berjaya Times Square, KL, near the cinema floor.

Look Out Point at Ampang, the latest and coolest place to eye view the city. Situated 10 km away from Ampang town, it sits on a slope along the winding road of the Pekan Batu 14-Ampang trunk road. Sometimes it can be pretty cold at night. Though it was just newly launched early this year, the Look Out Point has already begun to slowly but surely pick up in its popularity. Families and lovebirds hang out at the Look Out Point; some for a brisk upward climb to its observation tower (Menara Tinjau) where you can have a tremendous view of the Kuala Lumpur city. There, viewers can catch a breath-taking view of the entire landscape with unmistakeable landmarks from Menara Telekom in Petaling Jaya to KL Tower, to Petronas Twin Tower .
There is also an interesting mini bird park on the other side of the Look Out Point, truly a place that nature lovers out there should not miss. There is also dining place to have a coffee break called Kopitiam Rimba: Brother Joul?s at the entrance of the look out point. They serve nostalgic food such as steamed bread, toasted bread, and steamed sweet potato. A perfect place to unwind and breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city; without having to leave the city!

The parking space is quite limited, so please arrange your visit during weekdays.

You even went there without telling me?!i told Wicky,I can recommend this place to you and then charge you if i direct you to this place.Aiya!Yup, there is a mini bird park (covered by the net), which on top of the net, we saw monkeys dating, and no birds could be found anywhere. Maybe the management hasnt got the budget to buy in any bird yet? :P
